On 29 February 2024, the Cameroon Forum of Agricultural Advisory Services (CAMFAAS) received a delegation from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) from Rome for a technical working visit to its headquarters in Yaoundé-Cameroon.
Discussions focused on measures to support CAMFAAS in achieving its missions and visions in Cameroon's agricultural sector. During the workshop, which brought together 12 participants including IFAD, CAMFAAS, YPARD Cameroon, the head of GIC APHMC and the representative of CAMYIRD, the Cameroon Forum of Agricultural Advisory Services (CAMFAAS) had the opportunity to present the CANALLS project. The CANALLS project was presented in its entirety, including its mission, vision, work packages and, above all, the activities that have already been carried out and to which CAMFAAS has contributed.
The aim was to show IFAD the innovation in support for producers through the concept of Living Labs, and also to present the role that CAMFAAS will play in the sustainability of this action by continuing to train stakeholders on the economic opportunities of agroecology (agroecology business model).
