On Saturday, July 8, 2023, the University of Hohenheim opened its doors again and invited visitors of all ages to experience the beautiful university campus live.
The open day is a great chance to present our work to a broad audience, ranging from the broad public to scientific actors.
We took the opportunity to present the CANALLS project at the joined stand with the Hohenheim Research Center for One Health Sciences and the Department of Communication and Advisory Services in Rural Areas.
Aligned with the overarching theme of "Together for Sustainability," our objective was to elevate awareness surrounding multifaceted global challenges, including the climate crisis, global hunger, and biodiversity loss. We articulated how CANALLS employs a systematic approach to address these challenges, underscoring the critical importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers and non-scientific stakeholders. This collaborative synergy fosters a sustainable paradigm in agriculture across West, East, and Central Africa, integrating diverse perspectives to effectively confront pressing challenges.
